The project, co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund, was aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the building and living conditions for the school's users.
Project overview
The energy renovation project was implemented between 4 April 2019 and 30 June 2022, covering the replacement of existing facade elements with new, energy-efficient solutions. The installation of wall sandwich panels enabled a reduction in energy consumption, heating costs and CO₂ emissions while raising the building’s energy class from D to C. The expected savings amount to 338,084.64 kWh per year, representing a reduction in energy consumption by as much as 64.39%.
To insulate the building, 150 mm thick Sandwich panels with a mineral wool core and microrib sheet metal profiling on the inside and outside were selected:
- External panel facing colour: RAL 9006
- Internal panel facing: RAL 9002
With the total quantity of 1,088 m² panels supplied for the project, all of which were manufactured and delivered to the site within two weeks, enabling a rapid implementation of this part of the project.
